Our quilt show, "Quilting in the Valley," is held biennially (every 2 years) and is co-hosted by both the VQG & SFVQA quilt guilds. Our next quilt show will take place in 2013. As soon as we have information available we will post it here.

April 14 ~ SCCQG's "Meet the Teachers" The So. California Council Quilt Guilds is planning a spectacular quilt show! Everyone is invited to attend the expanded Meet the Teachers annual meeting, Saturday, April 14 from 9:30 am -3 pm at the Carson Community Center, 801 E. Carson Blvd.,Carson, CA 90745 just one block from the 405 freeway. The meeting has been transformed into a quilt show with booths for as many as 50 teachers, each displaying at least 3 quilts, for a total of at least 150 professional quality quilts minimum. Vendors have been invited, too. There will also be new products and patterns available from the teachers and vendors there. With Free Admission and free parking, it promises to be the best quilt event in Southern California this spring. Come watch demos and win door prizes offered throughout the day, it's not just for SCCQG reps and members. ..It's for anyone who loves quilts. Plan to spend the day with your friends. Guilds may bring their Opportunity Quilts. There is not outside food admitted to the Carson Center, but picnic boxes - sandwiches, fruit, cookie and beverage - will be available on site for $10. Come one, Come all. Meet the great selection of southern California teachers and speakers available for your guild this next year. Guild program people should bring contracts and calendars in preparation for getting speakers for your guild. Around 100 quilts will be on display, vendors, homemade gift items, quilters chance baskets. Come see their new location with lots of room and good parking. Nice restaurants in the immediate area.
