Foster Children's Resource Center   ~ The FCRC supports Foster Children in the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas.

Guild members sew together pillowcases that the children get to keep, for use as a pillow cover or for a place to keep their personal items. Fabrics to make the pillowcases are donated by local quilt and fabric shops and Becky Kokkinos graciously cuts and matches fabrics into kits which are available at the monthly VQG meetings.

Guild members also collect new, packaged undergarments and travel size toiletries so the toilet kits can be assembled for each child on a regular distribution.

For additional information, see Becky Kokkinos just before the monthly VQG meeting begins or during the break OR email her by clicking on her underlined name to the right: Becky Kokkinos.

Each pillowcase is constructed with 3 contrasting fabrics:

1 - 25" x 45" for the body of case

1 -12" x 45" for the cuff of the case

1 - 3 1/2" x 45" for the trim of the case
